How to add Properties

Objective: To add a new property to your AirBills portfolio.

Procedure: Clients must log into their account, navigate to the 'Properties' section, click on “Add New Property,” enter all the necessary details, and submit the form.

SLA: 72 hours


Taking out Properties

Objective: To remove a property from your AirBills portfolio.

Procedure: Clients need to access the 'Properties' section, find the property, and request its removal via AirBills support on Slack with the property details.

SLA: 24 hours


Turn on Service at an Address

Objective: To initiate utility services at a new property.

Procedure: Select “Turn On Services,” complete the form with the required service details and preferred start dates, and submit the request.

SLA: 72 hours


Turn off Service at an Address

Objective: To discontinue utility services at a property.

Procedure: Clients must send a direct request via Slack to AirBills support, specifying the property details and the services that need to be turned off.

SLA: 48 hours


Other Requests

Objective: To handle additional or unique client requests related to property services.

Procedure: Clients are advised to contact AirBills support via Slack for any non-standard requests or issues, providing detailed information for personalized assistance.

SLA: Determined on a case-by-case basis

How can you onboard a property?

Step 1: Initiate Property Addition

Log in to your AirBills client account.

Navigate to the ‘Properties’ tab.

Click on “Add New Property”.

Step 2: Enter Property Information

Input the following essential details of your new property:

Property GL Code: Assign a unique identifier for the property already being used in your accounting software

Property Name: Name your property for easy identification.

Address: Enter the full address. Use both Address 1 and Address 2 if necessary.

State: Select the state where the property is located.

City: Enter the city for the property.

Zip Code: Provide the property’s zip code.

Payment Method: Choose your preferred billing and payment method.

Review the details for accuracy and click “Save”.

Step 3: Add Bill Details (Incase there is no utility setup skip here)

Go to the Bills section.

Click on “Add Bill”.

Fill in the bill details for the property, including:Bill Type

Biller Name

Username

Password

2FA PIN/Security answer (If applicable, generally only required for trash, water bill types)

Alternative for Properties Without any Utilities Set-up / Service-ON

If there are no utility setups, fill out the “Turn On Services” form:

Enter the complete address, city, state, and property code.

Select the necessary services (gas, electricity, internet, etc.).

Indicate when you want these services to start.

How can you offboard a Property/Utility?

Note: Only properties under AirBills management can be offboarded. Ensure to indicate if you are requesting a service off (property is De-Listed/Inactive) or an offboarding (property active but not under AirBills management).

Offboarding a Property

Step 1: Request Off-boarding

Send a ticket to Alex via Slack with the following details: Property GL Code and Name.

Specify whether it is an offboarding request or a service-off request.

Reason for offboarding or service OFF.


Step 2: Await Confirmation

AirBills will respond within 48 hours with a confirmation status.

You will be informed of any additional payments incurred during the service OFF process.


Step 3: Equipment Return

In case of service off, AirBills will provide instructions on how to return equipment to the internet service provider, if applicable.
